What colour gold suits me?
The choice of the colour of the precious metal used in your jewellery is a matter of taste. So, the first thing to remember is this: buy what you like!
Different colours of gold can have variations in the shade to complicate matters, so yellow gold can range from a pale yellow to a pretty deep yellow. Rose gold can look quite dark and range to a light pinkish tone.
But white gold tends to be white but will look more yellow when the palladium coating needs replacing.
However, different shades of gold have different effects on different shades of skin.
Yellow gold looks great on warmer skin tones, so it can be very flattering if you've picked up a recent suntan! White gold works well with cooler skin tones. Rose gold is a versatile gold colour; it can complement both cooler and warmer skin tones and look very feminine.
